Mid-Year Breakfast a Huge Success!
The first IHEPO mid-year breakfast was a huge success! A large and positive crowd heard the many accomplishments the IHEPO has achieved in only its first half-year of representing the teachers of Indian Hill. These include representing the teaching faculty at Board of Education and PTO meetings, sponsoring faculty luncheons, fundraising for student centered projects, a 403b information session, and the initiation of a district leadership committee consisting of the Superintendent, the Board president, administrators and IHEPO representatives. The IHEPO has also implemented the addition of internal substitute pay, has investigated insurance waivers, has offered recommendations on increasing professional development opportunities and an adjustment in the parent-teacher conference schedule, as well as established committees to discuss job sharing and teacher evaluation changes made necessary with revised state legislation.
