Tonight, the Indian Hill Board of Education voted unanimously to approve the tentative agreement. The teachers will have a question and answer session tomorrow morning, August 13th, from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. at the high school. Teachers will vote on the contract next Tuesday, August 19th in their schools.
The IHEPO appreciated the Board acting so quickly on this matter. The collaborative and respectful tone set at negotiations will no doubt continue as the school year continues.
At the Board meeting, Anne Kuhn, president of the IHEPO, thanked the board. The unanimous vote was evidence of how teachers are valued in our district. She also thanked the administrators and the teachers for their patience during a difficult transition to our own organization.
This vote is truly a great way to begin the year!
